This
page is for those who have a desire to know the truth about God, Jesus
Christ,
and religion. If you do not have a
desire to know the truth, then please click the back button on your
browser and
don’t read the rest of the page. I
desire others to know what I know and experience the joy my family and
I have
as a result of the knowledge we have gained from our religion. I do not wish to argue points of religion,
but to simple tell you a few basics truths and then point you to the
church’s website
where you can learn more, and if you desire get free information
including
videos, books, or have missionaries come to your home. Here
are a just few basic truths: Jesus
Christ is the Son of God and is our Savior and he atoned for our sins
so that
we can all have eternal life. He created
the Earth and all things on the Earth.
God and Jesus Christ created man.
God is our Father in Heaven and it is God that we should
pray to, and we
should pray to God in the name of his son Jesus Christ.
The Holy Ghost is the third member of the Godhead
and helps us to know truth and can help us in many ways. Satan’s
influence is here on earth tempting
us to do evil. God
and Jesus Christ have established their church on the Earth several
times since
the time of Adam and Eve. The church
always has prophets which are lead by direct revelation from god or
Jesus
Christ to direct the church. After many
years each time the church was organized the leaders and members of his
church
became corrupt and the church lost its prophets and was no longer on
the earth
for a period of time. Many other
churches have been organized by man and not by God or Jesus Christ. When Jesus Christ was here on the earth he
established and organized his church again with a prophet and apostles. After many years again the prophets and
apostles died and the leaders and members became corrupt and his church
was no
longer on the Earth. Again many other
churches would be organized by man which are not the church of God, or
of Jesus
Christ. Jesus
Christ established and organized his church again and it is here on
earth again
today. It is worldwide and has millions
of members. His church is organized just
like he organized it before, being lead by prophets having direct
revelation,
and having twelve Apostles to testify of Jesus Christ just like before. The
Bible is not the only book of scripture.
There are other scriptures from other people in other
lands at other
times where Jesus Christ organized his church for these people. There are recent scriptures direct from Jesus
Christ where he directs his prophets in organizing his church again.
This new
book of scripture is a gift which is more valuable than all the riches
of the
world. His church is here on earth and
is the only church organized by Jesus Christ and is the only true
church and
will never again be taken from the Earth.
All other churches are organized by man and are not his
church. God
loves all his children and wants us all to obey his commandments and
return to
live with him. God answers prayers for
all faithful people throughout the world, and miracles do still happen
for the
faithful. If
you are truly seeking the truth then continue on and get more
information. Do not let others or the
power of Satan keep
you from learning the truth, which will give you and your family joy
like the
joy me and my family have enjoyed. Pray
in faith and you can come to know the truth about the church I have
been speaking
of. The Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-day Saints is the official name of the religion commonly called
the
Mormon Church. Mormons believe first and
foremost that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world and the Son of
God. I do not expect you to just take my
word for
it, but to learn more about it and pray about it. If
you want to know more please click on the
link below which is the official church website. After
going to the following website, click on
About the Church and then click on Basic Doctrines. www.lds.org is the website or you can just go to www.mormon.org which is the website for those who want to learn more about the church. Sincerely Yours, Richard Barnes |
