About Electronic Pool & Spa Sanitizers: We recommend that every pool or spa have at least an ionizer which will reduce chemicals 80% to 90%. For pools we recommend model PI-D, and for spas model SI-D, or Instant Ions model IONS-25 and a Copper Test kit model CTK. If you want total chemical free water in your pool, we recommend a THUNDER ozone generator model T2000 or T4000, model TMIS or T24MIS ozone mixing injector system, and an ionizer model PI-D. For a spa Model T500TS will provide total chemical free sanitation. A PURITY combination salt chlorine generator and ionizer is a great option if you do not mind a very low .1 to .2 ppm of chlorine. Our PURITY system generates chlorine from ordinary salt through the process of electrolysis. This process breaks the salt into its basic elements of sodium, and chlorine. After the chlorine does its disinfecting work it converts back into salt and is recycled back into chlorine as it passes the electrodes, so the same salt is used over and over again.

Your Spa naturally contains some salt, but you'll need to add more salt to your Spa to bring the salinity level to 3,000 PPM. Just 2 cups per 100 gallons. The salinity of sea water is 12 times stronger and a tear drop is 2.5 times stronger than the salinity you will be using in your spa. You will not taste the salt in the water. It is like relaxing in soft silky mineral water. This low salinity level will not harm your spa or filtration equipment.

PURITY is easily installed to new or existing Spas. The small generating cell is simply placed in the Spa water and hangs by its cord. The control box is attached to the cabinet, and the power supply is connected to the Spa equipment inside the cabinet. An in-line cell is available on request for Spas with 24 hour circulating systems, or you can add our 24 hour spa circulating pump kit model SCPK and have an in-line cell.

Salt is available at most hardware and grocery stores. The salts all stay in the water and do not dissipate once added to the water. With PURITY you can go up to a year without a water change.

Why do I need to ionize my spa water?

By ionizing the spa water you are able to maintain only .2 to .5 ppm of chlorine and bromine. Without the ionization you would need five to 10 times as much chlorine or bromine. This gives you much better water quality, and reduces the cost of the generator as the size is reduced. That is why PURITY Model PSRI comes with a year supply Instant Ions and a copper test kit. How often will I need to change my spa water with AUTOCLOR?

You can go up to a year without changing your water, saving you time and money?

What do I need to know about my spa when ordering?

You will need to let us know if you want an in-line, or drop-in cell. You will need to know if your spa has a 24 hour circulating pump (only a few do), or if you can install our circulating pump kit if you want an in-line cell. The drop-in cell is easier to install but is placed in the spa water so it is visible and not as desirable as the in-line cell.

What about Bromine Generators?

Bromine only generators will not provide the water quality that our combination chlorine / bromine generator and ionizer, and you are required to purchase very expensive bromine salts (Sodium Bromide) which may cost over $100 a year, so you are still buying an expensive chemical. Our PURITY system uses mostly regular salt and only requires 2 oz of Sodium Bromide at start-up at a cost of less than $4 a year. A five year supply of salt (Sodium Chloride) will cost about $3 and is available at your local store. With PURITY you will have bromine in your spa without all the expense.

PURITY requires 24 hour operation, so the Circulating Pump Kit is required for 24 hour operation if you want an in-line cell and if you do not have 24 hour circulating pump. Your spas large 2 speed pump only operates a few hours a day and can not be used with an in-line cell.

Model SCPK Includes the circulating pump, 3 ft 3/4" ID Hose, two 1 1/2" X 3/4" adapters, two 3/4" adapters, and four hose clamps.

Connects to 3/4" ID ozone or other jet water line and PURITY In-line Cell.

Power is connected to the equipment pack power so that it is always on.
Comes with installation instructions and drawings.

Model IONS-25 Treats 25,000 Gallons 1 Pint Bottle of Instant Copper, Silver, and Zinc Ions. Will provide a 1 to 2 year Ionization supply for spa treatment. A copper test kit is required to test the copper level every 2 weeks to maintain a .3 ppm of copper in your spa. You will need to add Instant Ions to your spa water as needed every 2 to 8 weeks. Included with our model PSRI	Model IONS-50 Treats 50,000 Gallons 1 Quart Bottle of Instant Copper, Silver, and Zinc Ions. Will provide a 2 to 4 year Ionization supply for spa treatment.
